“ The food was wonderful, with large portions! We split the Shaved Kale Salad, and they brought out what looked like two full-size servings of salad. Service was great. We never felt rushed. The main dining area is very loud. Outside dining was much quieter. The outside dining in the back of the restaurant was much cooler than the front (east facing?). Reservations required. ”
“ We're from Austria in Europe and visited The Mission on our trip through the southwestern United States in our rented RV. We were quickly and easily assigned a table, and the friendly, smiling server immediately asked us what we wanted to drink and promptly brought water and the wine we ordered. The specialty, which most people eat here, is the guacamole. It's prepared at the table by a staff member and tastes delicious. A visit is definitely worth it; highly recommended. Klaus & Karin ”
“ High vibes in a dark moody joint! Lively too may I add! My friend and I sat at the bar. Enjoyed the ambiance. Ordered the table side gauc hoping they’d make it table side but since we were at the wood they didn’t sadly. The salsa was the star. Very flavourful and a hit of spice. Not hot to me but I can handle the heat. Generous portion of chips. The skirt steak tacos were large pieces of steak. Quite tender. Topped with avacado. 3 very full tacos. Bartender/server was on it. Very attentive. Helpful with suggestions on the menu. Drinks were made perfect to order not too sweet for a shaken spicy margarita. I’d recommend this spot. Even to make reservations if you’re with a larger party. It was quite busy and full for a Monday evening. ”
“ Too knotch dining! When I travel to Scottsdale I never miss an opportunity to eat here! Alfonso or Fonz really loves the menu. Follow his recommendations. He is passionate about the food here and was spot on in everything he suggested. We loved it. Sampled about 6 different items. Desert! Get the pumpkin bread pudding! Even if you don’t like pumpkin! It’s heavenly!! We had the best experience. I hadn’t been her in about 5 years and it was JUST as good and consistent as I remembered! Can’t wait to return! ”

“ Went here on Christmas Eve for dinner and had a great meal. We had the pollo street tacos and the kale salad with salmon. I was impressed by the level of attention the staff gave to my dining partner’s gluten sensitivity as they made a special version of salsa that was gluten free as their regular salsa has soy sauce. They also brought grilled tortillas for her to enjoy the guacamole as their regular salsa tortilla chips could be exposed to gluten in the fryer. We had a minor issue with how the salmon was prepared and the executive chef took over to remake it himself. I would definitely return for another meal on my next visit. There were a few items I wanted to try that I was just too full to add to the table. ”
